For this project, I was tasked to create a guidebook about something I was passionate about. The guidebook needed to have actual body text, and a map or diagram and was required to serve as a functioning practical guide on a particular topic.

Since I was getting into photography, I decided to make a guidebook on the best spots to take photos in the San Diego area. Upon doing some online research, I had never been to many of these places, so I took the opportunity to visit them and capture my own photos to use in this book.

After doing visual research and multiple sketches, I explored various layouts and established a cohesive style for the look and feel of the guidebook implemented in the final version.
